RipTidE - Fireleaf EP + Dem Slackers - Working Title Free EP

Max Bedeker fell in love with music whilst on holiday in the South of France aged 11. Hearing Sepultura's 'Roots' album for the first time he was hooked, his first act on arriving home was to buy that album quickly followed by those of Metallica and KoRn. From that short Holiday Romance a life long musical love affair was born….

The biggest push for being a producer/DJ however, came at the Benicassim festival, where he went to see 'this dj called Erol Alkan who did that Franz Ferdinand remix that's pretty good'. After a long long day, very tired, he still made it to the stage, and when he saw and heard him play Boys Noize's remix of Tiga - Move My Body, and then dropped Rage Against The Machine's Killing In The Name Of he knew that that's what he wanted to do: Become a dj.

Slowly building up a studio full of analogue gear Max started delving deeper, not only listening to, but studying classic producers such as Giorgio Moroder and Patrick Cowley. Whilst at the same time concentrating on his own productions, making it his number one priority.

Now finally, after the shock-success of his remix, he's ready to take on the world with his dj-sets and productions. Already he's got some releases coming up on Tommie Sunshine's Brooklyn Fire label, Boemklatsch records, and will be producing other artists as well.

Not only that he’s worked with singer songwriters, bands and even recorded a song with Tibetan monks! There's no telling in what will happen next in the world of RipTidE…

Despite only being 18 years old Dem Slackers has quite a few titles to his name. He found his love for producing about five years ago and decided to spend more time making music in 2008. Since then he has signed two EPs (one on Wearhouse and one on BMKLTSCHRCRDS), made official remixes for Lil’ Wayne, Foamo and Mightyfools and was asked to remix for Kissy Sell Out’s San City High and Bart B More’s Secure Recordings to name a few. Next to producing he also started out DJing not long after, and his live act was soon discovered and praised by many – his tracks are supported by Crookers, Steve Aoki, Fake Blood, Don Rimini, Sinden, Tommy Sunshine, Mightyfools and many more, and with tours in Hungary, Belgium, the Netherlands and England already confirmed it won’t be long for him to take over the world!

BMKLTSCH RCRDS has decided to put out a 3 releases from their featured artists all at once. These artists are Nobody Beats The Drum, C-mon & Kypski and Boemklatsch. You may know some of the artists from their live gigs thru-out Europe or from great videoclips or tracks on the web. There is also a slim change that you don't. C-mon & Kypski are the eclectic visionaries that are hard to classify. Mixing Turntablisme with electronica and live instruments they've produced 4 albums already. The band really stands out when it comes to live shows. Creative visuals, exciting climaxes and funny breaks took them all over the globe (US, Europe, South Africa etc). Nobody Beats The Drum is the electrical mayhem you get when you put two top producers and a VJ together in a room for too long. Their cutting edge videoclips 'The Drum' (more then 500.000 views) and 'Grindin' (more then 160.000 views) made them known worldwide. Add an experimental element to fidget, techno, breaks and hiphop and you get the Dirty Monkey EP which is released today. Boemklatsch is probably the fastest upcoming DJ collective in Europe. More then 30 European festivasl got introduced to them last year and they have played alongside big names like Bloody Beetroots, MSTRKRFT, Jackbeats, DatA, High Rankin etc. A new door had opened when they started producing their own tracks. Their first Release was on Lektroluv (Spikkeltjes EP) and their second is the EP called Noisy. This EP has remixes from Schlachthofbronx, Jaimie Fanatic, Baskerville and more.

Gtronic - Iron Man EP

This is massive, massive, massive tunes here in eP!!!
I heard "Iron man" a long time ago in Volatile's mix, and i was very impressed, and now, just for anniversary of my blog, a have such a big present from Gtronic!!!! I'm really happy! EP Includes remixes from one of my favourites - Hostage, from greattunes makers - Stereoheroes, and newcomer for my ears - Ebokai.

All tracks are worth listening! Remixes not really remixes, in my opinion they are something between remix and edit. Stereoheroes remix is more harder in bass section,
and Hostage adds some samples around the full leinght of the track, something 8bit kind samples - funny stuff!) Ebokai for me is better than others, really powerfullised bass and new synts give for the track second live....and original do not need any comments! Жииир)))

As for Destroyer, this is son of Iron Man, new more harder beat and synts, new tone of the bass... But it is really maked under Gtronic impression from "Iron man", and not bad track he made, but hope it won't be his tradition to use one bass in different tracks like Marlow for example...
